6/15/06 Moynagh Battles Gagliardi for FLW Angler of the Year on Champlain!
All-Terrain pro Jim Moynagh has re-discovered his touch with his namesake Jim Moynaghs Rock Jig and is poised to battle Lake Champlain Smallmouth to win the coveted Angler of the Year Title on the FLW tour. Moynagh sits just 35 points behind fellow All-Terrain Jig enthusiast Anthony Gagliardi who currently leads the points race. For some added pressure Moynagh also leads the Ranger Cup standing and with his Yamaha Motor bonus could land an additional $150,000 if he can hold his ranger cup lead. Good Luck To Jim!
Can you say FLW sweep? Well, its a bit too early to say it but Fellow All-Terrain Team member Jacob Powroznik is currently sitting in a solid 3rd place in the new FLW Series standings after his strong top-ten finish at Lake Cumberland in KY. Jacob credited a 3/8 Rock jig as a factor in his high finish. You can follow both guys by watching the FLW website.
While your surfing the web be sure to follow the Bassmaster Elite series result this week. All-Terrain Pro Todd Faircloth is fishing hard on KY Lake and Guess What? We next day aired a whole bunch of Jim Moynagh Rock Jigs to him over the weekend
...Hint!!!
We always try to keep up with our regional guys and their top finishes
.the problem is that there are so many that it is hard to list them all. After winning the first three tournaments he fished this year, Midwest Team Member Brad Cline followed his three wins with a second place finish in the Extream Bass tournament on Prior Lake in Minnesota. Brad and his partner were going for four tourney wins in a row when fellow Team Members Steve Hauge and Ben Miller edged him out and came in with the first place bag for a 1-2 All-Terrain sweep.
The first Silverado Pro Bass Tour event also took place in MN on Green Lake near Spicer, where Team All-Terrain members took nearly half of the top-ten spots. Leading the way was Team member Corey Guttenfelder with a 3rd Place finish, Brad Longerbone in 4th, Brad Cline in 6th and National Team Member Jim Moynagh in 7th. Great job guys!!
