10/12/07 Moynagh Rocks for 2nd Place in FLW season -ending Tournament with Football Jig!
All-Terrain Team member Jim Moynagh ended his up and down season by nearly winning the final FLW series tournament of the year on Pickwick Lake. After missing the FLW tour championship by one place, Moynagh finished the year by winning the Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship and finishing second at the Pickwick event.
After finishing second in the FLW tour event last year on Pickwick, Jim new there may be a real strong football head bite at Pickwick. That ended up being true, as all of the top 5 finishers used a football head in their high finish. Over the years Moynagh has proven that he is one of the top football head anglers in the country and if the fish are on that bite, he will be a factor in the tourney. His day three 19 lb plus bag included 4 giant smallouth and was the biggest bag of the tournament. WOW!
All Terrain Tackle owner Steve Hauge says, “ We could not be happier with Jim’s continued success with our new Football Head. We had 100% faith when Jim designed this jig that it would be the best on the market and I think the results speak for themselves. We have not stopped making these jigs since we introduced them last Dec. and have had numerous tournament wins all over the country this year, it is just incredible. Why would you not try the football head designed by one of the best anglers in the world at this technique?”
Stay tuned for season updates on all of our Team Members and outlook for 2008!
